BOLD SPOT, well placed after the start, assumed command entering the stretch and drew clear when ridden out. SHORT CABLE raced evenly for a half mire, finished determinedly when set down in the drive, but could not seriously threaten BOLD SPOT. GIN-MAR raced well to the final furlong, then faltered. BLAZER HORNET lacked early speed, but closed strongly in nothing left for the drive. BUT.CH WOOD, outrun early, was unable to reach serious contention when set down through the. stretch IDOL IMAGE began sluggishly. GARALORTER raced wide. NIGHT CABLE showed n.oUlmug-uD,SC"ARSLc??idnJS. keep .up STREET SCENE went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch, then quit. HAY MARKET was through early. LUCKY CHIPS look command early, settled in the stretch with a good lead, but was briskly handled thereafter to withstand MUSIC. The latter, well placed from the start, closed determinedly under punishment, but could not reach the winner, although not under strong pressure to best the others. WAR DOLLAR gave a good effort and had no excuse. LAST STRIDE lacked early foot, but finished fairly well under urging, WHAT A PEACH failed to respond when set down in the drive. CONNIE-JO bore in during the drive after going wide entering the stretch. BETSY MARIE, forced to take up leaving-the backstretch, failed to recover. HASTY BEE tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. ANN DEL, roughed during the stretch run by CONNIE-JO, lost all chance. REDEAL showed nothing. EUGENIA was never dangerous. BELLE GRAND began fast, but dropped far back immediately after the start. SANTAS GIRL was through early. Scratched 21096 Sun Crown, 114.
