PUCKETEER was held in reserve for the first six furlongs, moved through between horses when called upon and proved slightly, best over REIGHS DOUBLE in a stiff drive. The latter made the pace while in hand, bore cut . much of the way and held on stubbornly. WITCH DOCTOR raced very wide throughout and finished with good courage. FOLLY MILLS far back to the second turn, circled her field when rallying and wore down LOW SKY in midstrelch.
