New York Notes AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 16. A three-way tie exists for training honors in the young Aqueduct meeting. Bill Winfrey, who was shut out at the recent Belmont meeting, has started two horses for his patron, Alfred Vanderbilt, and won with both. The pair, however, carried a claiming tag and were taken over by other stables. Bills father, Cary Winfrey, also has had two starters and two winners, including Fabulist, winner of the Queens County Handicap. T. P. Morgan is the third trainer with two wins to his credit.
