OLYMPIAS ACE went to the front at once and, going in good form, increased his margin over DARK TOGA in the stretch to win handily. DARK TOGA dashed up on the outside soon after the start to reach second place nearing the strelch turn, but could make little impression on the leader although easily best of the others. KING 0 SWORDS finished steadily on the inside to best ON STANLEY ON narrowly. The latter was no match for the first two but "went fairly well. The others appeared to be outclassed. WITCH WAY went to the front at once, and shaking off SCAIRT RABBIT at midstretch opened up on the field and led to the end under mild urging. GOLDEN APOLLO was a good contender from the start and finished steadily. DALCAR made up ground in the stretch in a creditable effort. BOBTAIL WILLIE had no excuse, being close enough early and saving ground in the stretch. NEBULLUS dropped back after breaking well and was never dangerous, although finishing fairly well. IWILLIFICAN moved strongly on the outside of the early leaders around the stretch turn to get to the front when straightened out for home, and was not in, danger from HEDGEWOOD MISS coming to the end. HEDGEWOOD MISS was fairly well up from the start and finished with good courage but failed to threaten to get to the front. FLEUR DAMOUR made up ground in the stretch and was going well at the finish. PENNY FORTUNE had good early speed but weakened. RULE AGAIN held-on fairly well. TIPOQUILL raced wide and was not dangerous. FLYING FIRST had early foot. LADY ELECT lacked early speed and trailed to the stretch then came to the outside and, finishing strongly in the middle of the track, got to the front in the last fifty yards to win under pressure. CEBETTE saved ground in the stretch to successfully challenge BABYS PAL after entering the final furlong, but was unable to resist the winner. BABYS PAL, well placed from the start, took command on the stretch turn, then weakened in the final drive. PRINCITA finished fairly well. PERSISTENT AIR had speed for five furlongs. ARDANSGAL moved up in the stretch, but was unable to find ai opening and weakened. SHERRY L. was a good contender to the stretch, then faded. Overweight Persistent Air, 1 pounds. CHALLA BOY saved ground in the stretch to cut into the winners margin, but was unable to get up. RICKEY RAY dropped back early but was seemingly strongest of all at the end.
