Volenti to Rest at Home DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 16. Steve Valenti, whose horses are quartered here in charge of L. A. "Red" Connor, will remain at his New Orleans home until the opening of the Hazel Park meeting in August. Valenti became ill after flying to the Crescent City last week and he will remain at his home for a much-needed rest.
