PADDYS DAY was intermittently urged racing outside the tcp pair, wrested command in the upper stretch, but was no match for the winner. INDIRECT was outrun for six. furlongs, came around horses and finished well. GOTTAPASSEM was rated along setting the early pace and weakened when put to pressure. The latter was strongly urged in pursuit of the .winner and finished well to be clearly best of the others. HAMPACE bested tiring horses. WARIC easily opened a commanding lead on the backstretch, but was done when challenged. MISS CASTLE was sluggish early. BONNE FETE weakened gradually.
