Janecyk and Williams Renew Raceway Park Feud Tonight The driving feud between Ted Janecyk of Calumet Park and Bob Williams of Chicago, is expected to continue this week end as more than 70 drivers prepare for three stock car meets starting tonight and continuing Saturday and Sunday at Raceway Park, 130th and Ashland Ave. Janecyk emerged on top twice last week as the two drivers battled in the 25 -lap feature jaces, with Janecyk, establishing a new track record in the last one. Williams spun as the cars touched in one feature and on the 22nd lap of the race in which Janecyk set a new, speed mark, Williams slammed into the wall when he lost a right read wheel from the hard driving which was bringing him within striking distance of Janecyk. This latest rivalry has become intense with Janecyk taking over Williams sixth place spot in the point standings. Meanwhile, Harry Moyer of Chicago, has shown great improvement and is expected to break through one of these days for a feature win along with Rich Sutkus of Oak Lawn and Dennis Rubino of Blue Island. Johnny Schipper of Harvey, will have a Maier of Blue Island is expected to enter one of the fastest cars in the field tonight. Other top entries expected include Jack Helstern, Willie Schick and Ben Amundsen of Chicago. Time trials will start at 7 P. M., and the first race at 8:30 oclock.
