Lions Get Harry Gilmer In Deal With Redskins DETROIT, Mich., June 16 UP. The Detroit Lions today sent two rookies and an undisclosed, sum of cash to the Washington Redskins for former Alabama grid.-iron ace Harry Gilmer. In exchange for Gilmer, the Lions gave up Bert Zagers, their seventh draft choice from Michigan State in last winters draft, and Bob Trout, an end from Baylor who was drafted in 1952, but who has been in the service since then. In another action, the Redskins returned rights to Jim Hill, defensive halfback, to Detroit. It has been rumored that Hill would jump to the Canadian league next season.
