: Myrtles Jet Gets Honor Assignment for Cleopatra Has 122 Pounds, One Oyer Lalun, Two Above Fantan at Arlington WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., June 16. Maine Chance Farms Myrtles Jet received the top weight assignment of 122 pounds from racing secretary Frederick G. "Pat" Farrell for Arlington Parks 0,-000 added Cleopatra Handicap, June 22. The Jet Pilots-Myrtle Charm filly was chief competitor for the two-year-old filly crown won last year by High Voltage. The Cain Hoy Stable duo of Lalun and Fantan were next in line. The former received an impost of 121 pounds off her impressive showing in winning the Kentucky Oaks. Fantan received 120 pounds as her assignment. In Reserve, a member of the Alberta Ranches, Ltd., group of topnotch stakes performers, will carry 119 pounds. The Noor Abeyance filly, a winner of three races as a two-year-old, has a 1955 stakes victory to her credit in the Sante, Ynez at Santa Anita in February. Charlton Clays Lea Lane, a Nasrullah daughter, and a star performer on Chicago area tracks in 1954, was assigned 118 pounds. The filly already has two creditable showings this year in the Ashland Stakes at Keeneland and the Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs. The complete weight assignments are as follows: Horse. Wt. Horse.
