The latter, taken in hand and steadied while being outrun early, moved through along the inner rail when rallying in the JUNGLE BUNNY was forced to alter course frequently while making a bold but bealted bid JUST A MOMENT faltered only slightly after making a strong bid on entering the stretch MAXIES. RUN QUICK, slow to settle in stride, circled his field when advancing on .the second turn, wore down the leaders with a rush on the final turn, drew into a long lead in the early stretch and was well in hand through the closing stages to appear much the best. AGAR, also void of early speed, rallied from between horses on the final turn and closed full of run. NEXT PLEASE, forced wide on the first turn, remained outside thereafter and was lugging in through the final furlong. ARDANTIA was weU placed but lacked the necessary rally TANKER was used up early. BUREAUCRACY was taken in hand while in slightly close quarters early, worked his way through between horses while advancing on the turn, then came to the outside when roused for the drive and wore down COMMENDATION inside the last sixteenth. The latter was hustled along early to gain a striking position, raced wide to the stretch and held on gamely in a long drive. THIN ICE raced greenly in a strong effort. BETTYSON, rank to place early, was sent up between horses on leaving the backstretch to wrest command entering the last quarter mile and while being ridden out he gradually drew clear. MR. REDBIRD. shuffled back along the inside on leaving the backstretch, rallied from that position when clear on entering the stretch to make a bold bid a furlong away but had little left when the real test came. COOKS TOUR improved his racing position steadily when called upon in the late stages but could not seriously menace the top pair. SUNRISE PROOF found his best stride too late. The latter made the pace under clever rating, saved ground and just failed to last. CLASSIC MUSIC was through early. COUNTESS TINA could not keep up. NORTH PASSAGE and AURIESVILLE were always outrun.
