ALDO KID moved up along the inside to engage the leader before a quarter mile, was eased back rounding the far turn, responded willingly when sent through an opening along the inside into the stretch and drew clear. ELJAKA, reserved within striking distance of the pace, was sent outside for the drive but was not good enough. PASS BON weakened after getting to the • leader on the final turn. ELLIOTTS DOLL weakened after five furlongs. PATNESS passed tiring horses. COLD PIGEON had no mishap. The others were outrun. Scratched— 78219 Gay Jim, 113. Overweight— Patness, 5 pounds. BIG FINALE gained his best stride after a quarter mile, then readily opened a commanding lead and was not under pressure through the final furlong. LIBBYS FIRST worked her way up along the inside, rallied mildly and finished stoutly. CLOTTED CREAM was a forward factor on the outside, but was unable to menace. BE CHALLENGING moved up after a half mile, then went evenly. TOP BRASS raced in spots. LAMPO lost ground throughout. REJECTED BOUND raced close to the pace under restraint and flattened out when roused. PIPING GOOD showed nothing. WHITE LIGHT retired after a quarter mile. Scratched— 69954 Grand Mag, 108. MARY LAWLER was unhurried in the early stages, moved with a rush on the outside when roused, then reached the leader inside the final sixteenth and drew clear. BOOTS AWAY was never far off the pace, responded through the stretch and finished with good energy. GAY COLONY lacked a late rally. PREEMPTOR slipped through along the inside to draw close to the leaders and faltered. LECAMA weakened. HOME was outrun. GILDED LILY had speed for a half mile. BRIERETTE dominated the pace to the stretch and flattened out. CHICKS FOLLY forced the pace, then raced wide and tired. Scratched— Bolted Ring; 105. INCASEOFIRE showed good speed to vie for command soon after the start, responded to stout urging through the stretch and gradually drew clear. CONNIE CASEY assumed command soon after the start, saved ground throughout and held on gamely. OUR GUEST broke alertly, was hustled to maintain a forward position on the outside and, while untable to threaten he top pair, continued on evenly in the drive. LOUKENMAC was steered between horses during a late rush. NEW VALOR was forced to lose ground throughout. MY LAST TRY was never a serious factor. THREE BOBS retired after failing to stay wit the pace. SWOOP DOWN was in hand while improving her position aradually, then rushed boldly when roused, assumed command and Withstood a sustained drive from WISH TONIGHT. The latter moved up with a rush on the final turn, then engaged the leader inside the final furlong and continued on willingly. TOOME gained a short lead soon after the start, was steadied while saving ground and weakening when challenged. HEDYS BEST forced the pace most of the trip, but lacked a late rally. CHIC-A-LO was forwardly placed and was unable to menace when put to a drive.. TAN HIDE showed nothing. ROYAL SOMALI was unable to keep up. SQUARE MEASURE was fractious at the gate, went in the air at the start, swerved to the inside, then rushed up along the inside, but was in close quarterson the far turn and retired. KAYLAYENTA rallied during the final quarter mile and closed with good energy, but was not good enough. RECHERCHE raced in closest attendance of the pace, responded when called on, but was unable to reach the leader. DAMARIS saved ground to no avail. HADAREWARD had no mishap.
