J., May 10.— There are j important states scheduled and fashioned n for all ages and sexes at varying distances at Monmouth Parks -50-day meeting be- a ginning June 12 and continuing through August 8. Edward J. Brennan, Monmouth q Parks general manager, announced that so the clubs stakes blanks have all been mailed. Eighteen stakes, with a total added; to money value of 85,000, will be distributed 0 almost evenly among the two-year-olds, | three-year-olds, and handicap stars. The.."* Sorority, 0,000 added for two-year-old . fillies, replaces the Omnibus on the Ocean- port ovals schedule this summer. j - In addition, Monmouth Park will present the sixth running of the Midsummer — Hurdle Handicap this year as an invita-1 tional event with a purse of 0,000, and ho the Monmouth National Maiden Hurdle, c£ Stakes with ,500 added. The Midsummer Hurdle event is expected to lure Europes leading contenders since it will carry the largest net distribution for any hurdle race in the world. Fiye Stakes for Juveniles Juvenile racers have five added money tests scheduled, including the Sorority. The Colleen is for fillies only; the Tyro for colts and geldings; the New Jersey Futurity, open to either sex but restricted to state-bred foals; and the Sapling, richest opportunity for young racers, will bez the 0,000 added closing day feature. Reserved for three-ear-olds are five stakes with an addecl money value of 35,000. The Select Handicap and the Miss Woodford, the latter for fillies, are at six furlongs. * Route events include the Lamplighter Handicap, the 0,000 added Monmouth Oaks for distaff members, and the Choice Stakes. The 00,000 added Monmouth Handicap at a mile and a quarter and scheduled for July 14 tops the eight stakes for three-year-olds and up. The Oceanport Handicap, inaugural day feature; Regret Handicap for fillies and mares, and Rumson will be contested at six furlongs. Two stakes are run at a mile. They are the Balvator and the Longfellow Handicap, the latter to be run over the turf course. Two route tests, the Molly Pitcher Handicap, for fillies and mares, and the Long Branch Handicap on June 27, both at a mile and three-sixteenths, _will offer candidates an opportunity to certify their ness for the rich Monmouth Handicap.
