LIABILITY, always within striking distance, saved ground while moving up around the far turn and again on the stretch turn, and taking command drew out near the end. LONE PILOT moved up on the outside nearing the stretch turn to appear in front momentarily, then swung very wide on the turn and lost his chance. JUDY ROUNDERS was never too far removed and finished steadily. BLUE LICKS came strongly through the stretch. MORSE FLASH showed the way for a half mile and tired in the stretch. HAPS REWARD was the early leader, also appeared to falter on the last turn, but came again in the stretch. MINT BRANCH loomed as a likely winner on the last turn but raced wide. MUCHO FRIO closed some ground in the stretch. ECK-HEART weakened after getting to the front. LACY JACKET went to the front at once and, although headed by BEAU CARVEL around the far turn, again took command when the latter tired, and won under hand riding. JEEP FLYER was never far from the pace and went steadily to the end. ATESA loomed as a good contender at midstretch and also went well to the finish. BLUE SHOWERS swerved at the start and was badly outrun for half the trip, then went very wide on the stretch turn but finished well. BEAU CARVEL and MARGARET J. tired badly. FIXED CHARGE came very fast on the outside nearing the stretch turn and, takingsa short lead approaching midstretch, continued well to the end under hard urging. ASTOUNDING and JALBOPATE alternated in setting the early pace and the former outgamed her in the final drive. JALBOPATE weakened near the finish. BAD MARGIE failed to be a serious contender. MR. CORTINA raced very wide in the first half mile while being outrun then came fast in the middle of the track nearing the stretch turn to go wide on the turn, then cut to the inside of BROOKY in the-Jast sixteenth to take command and hold EQUAL STRIFE. The latter trailed for a half mile but came fast on the inside through the stretch and was gaining. BROOKY headed the field on the stretch turn but bore out badly in the last eighth. FRIENDLY MAN was prominent for five i furlongs, then weakened. BEST WISHES was outrun all the way. LYNETTE opened up a good lead in the first quarter but stopped badly in the final furlong. . FELDA raced close to SIXTY TWO until the latter gave up after going five furlongs, then took a short lead but was immediately challenged, by SQUIRE WILSON who raced close to her for the remainder of the trip. SQUIRE WILSON moved fast after going a quarter and racing on the outside of FELDA was on almost equal terms with her all through the stretch. RUDYS VALLEY moved from last place after leaving the backstretch to easily best the others. GALLARIDE made a promising move nearing the far turn and then faltered. SIXTY TWO stopped badly. CROWNETTE was closest to ROMAN FLASH for five furlongs, then slipped through on the inside of the latter around the far turn to take a good lead and save ground in the stretch but was all out to hold SU-JAY. The latter moved strongly in the last eighth and got to the i winner in the final twenty yards, then seemed to falter. BLUE FAY raced evenly and finished fairly well. SAINT NICHOLAS was badly outrun to the stretch and then raced very wide but finished ,strcngly on the extreme outside. LONELY WINTER saved ground in the stretch but was not good enough. J AR BOY set the pace and went well to the last furlong, then began to weaken. CCRDITE was never a contender in a dull effort.
