Zakoor; bred by K.~M. and W. P. Little and C. C. Boshamer. IN GATE-5:31. OFF AT 5:31 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won ridden out; second and third driving. YAMA set, the pace from the start, turned back the challenge of GRANNEAL leaving the backstretch and was not threatened thereafter while being roused intermittently. IRRITATE improved his position to the stretch and was taken up while lugging in under pressure. ANTIGUA outfinished GRANNEAL. The latter was closest to the leader into the stretch and was tiring when bothered by IRRITATE. Jockey Servis claim of foul against IRRITATE was disallowed. VINMAYBE lacked a £J rally, as did LARAN.
