Approve 1,042 Applications WATERFORD PARK, Chester, W. Va., May 10. — Readying for its fifth combined spring -and ■summer meeting scheduled from May 28th through July 12th, Water-ford Paik West Virginias only one-mile track is presently prepared to receive all or any of the horses for whom stalls have been allotted in its capacious stable area, according to an announcement by management, today. Applications to the number of 1042, largest in the brief history of the race course on the banks of the Ohio River have been received and approved.
