Cruz Escapes Serious Injury HAMILTON, Ohio, May 10.— Jockey John Cruz, who was thrown from the sprinter Ester JackT owned by F. M. Clatterbuck, in the fourth race here Wednesday, escaped with slight cuts and bruises, according to word from Mercy Hospital. The youngster has, however, complained of shoulder pains, which are now being given treatment, and" he is expected to be released from the local infirmary in the next couple of days.
