Chambers Takes Over Lead CAHOKIA DOWNS. East St. Louis. May 13. — Including the racing of last Friday night, the contest for leading rider was one of the closest in the history of the local track but after Saturday nights card was completed Wayne Chambers made it uninteresting through his four winners, giving him 11 for the meeting or four more than John J. Hanley, who was tied with Chambers until that time. Following Hanley are L. J. Colclasure, James R. I Vinson, Marcos Diaz and apprentice Richard Baraett, all with half a dozen scores, while the departed Harrell Bolin and apprentice James Dailey are tied with five apiece.
