Juveniles Clash in Balmoral Feature Rellim S. W. Seen Favorite in Dash Burdetta, Carrie Louise, Plain Ben, Alliance Also Test Speed at Washington WASHINGTON PARK, HomewOod, 111., May 13. — William S. Millers namesake in reverse. Rellim S. W., heads a good field of eight two-year-olds in the ,500 Paperboy Purse. Tuesdays feature attraction of Balmorals first week of racing at Washington Park. A winner last out, the youngster will share top weight of 120 pounds in Tuesdays five-furlong dash with C. P. Edwards Jr.s Alliance and Carrie C. Hillocks Plain Ben. River Divide Farms unraced Thespis. Paul Shaawhans Carrie Louise, Anthony Graffagninis Burdetta, D, E. Lovemans Mara j a and William J. Schmidts Des Plaines complete the field. Rellim S. W. will likely rule the choice in Tuesdays feature. The ,500 Keenland sales purchase comes off a victory at Churchill Downs. It was a four and one-half furlongs maiden event and the colt, who has displayed a desire to come from behind, showed good power in wearing down the leader through the final sixteenth. It was his fifth start this year and his first win. His best performance, however, was registered in the Gulfstream Park Dinner Stakes at the Hallandale track. In that one. Rellim S. W. dropped a photo decision to outsider Cohansey, closing boldly from a tardy start. Burdetta Three-Time Winner Burdetta has been racing with considerable success in claiming company of the ,500 variety. The Charlie McAdam filly just last week scored her third win in nine starts this year at Sportsmans Park. It was her second victory of the meeting. Carrie Louise, a daughter of the 1953 Kentucky Derby winner, Dark Star, was an impressive come-from behind winner of her first start last month at Keeneland. Plain Ben is another who made a successful debut at Keeneland. The colt led from start to finish in turning back nine rivals. Maraja is after her second win in nine starts. She is coming off a second in a Gulfstream Park dash almost a month ago. Her lone victory was recorded in 0,000 claiming company last February at Hialeah. Des Plaines was a winner at Sportsmans Park. Thespis, highly regarded son of Olympia — Theatre Date, and a 3,000 Keeneland sales purchase, makes his racing debut in the Paperboy Purse.
