MUNCHAUSEN, never far back and well handled, moved up fast approaching the stretch and, after disposing of BIG SWEEP, drew clear without need of urging. BERNBURGOO, away sluggishly and outrun to the stretch, responded readily when set down in the drive, but wasf unable to seriously threaten MUNCHAUSEN. STAR ROVER raced well for three-quarters mile, made a mild I bid in the early stretch, but faltered during the final furlong. HASSEYAMPA, far back and outrun to the " last quarter mile, finished fairly well under urginq but was unable to reach the leaders. PRECIOUS STONE tired during the drive. FULL FLIGHT could not keep up. BIG SWEEP took an early lead, set the pace until challenged by MUNCHAUSEN, then failed to stay. DARK TOGA had early speed and appeared beaten when caught in close quarters during the stretch run. INVALIDATE was through early and raced wide.
