Francis A. McDonough Jr. Dies CHURCHILL DOWNS. Louisville, Ky., May 13. — The funeral of Francis A. McDonough Jr., one of this citys best known sports figures, will take place Wednesday at 9 a.m. from Christ the King Church. McDonough, 47, had been ill since last December and death came at his West End home. McDonough is survived by his widow, the former Bessie Hennriott; two sons, Gary Ray and Allen McDonough; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank McDonough, and three brothers, Raymond, Charles, and Edward.
