Pine Shot Takes Hunt Cup MALVERN, Pa., May 13. — Shouldering the top weight of 155 pounds, Pine Shot, owned by C. Mahlon Kline, Ambler, Pa., and trained by Morris H. Dixon, made every one of the 13 brush fences a winning one to capture the 36th running of the National Hunt Cup here last Saturday. Ably handled by Ed Deveau, the winner negotiated the two-mile route in 3:46% and finished two and a half lengths ahead of Fighting Byrne, who outfinished Crag by a six-length margin.
