Californian Draws Forty-Eight Stars Representatives From Five Foreign Nations Nominated To Hollywood Park Feature HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 13. — Top horses from every section of the nation and from five foreign countries are included in the 48 nominees for the Californian, first of Hollywood Parks four 00,000 stakes, which will be run Saturday, May 25. The Californian line-up, announced by racing secretary John Maluvius, includes Mrs. M. E. Lunns Porterhouse, who upset Swaps in the "hundred grander last year. Mrs. Lunns Llangollen Farm of Virginia named three others in addition to Porterhouse. Alfred Vanderbilt of New York added the name of his hard-hitting Find and Tennes-sean Jack Rodgers nominted his Due de Fer. The Chicago stable of Mrs. Ada L. Rice led in quantity, naming a quintet of stars for the mile and one-sixteenth event. The Oklahoma-owned stable of Travis M. KeiT boasts a powerful four-horse entry in Bobby Brocato, Blessbull, Lover Boy and Round Table. Count Chic Northwest Hopeful Representating the Northwest is Count Chic, owned by Seattles Dino Lozzi. The Poltex Stable of Texas named Terrang. Among California nominees are Lou Rowans Spinney and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Martins Head Man. The roster of foreign-breds is extremely impressive. Champions FJ. Khobar of Australia and Nenucho n from Argentina are included among the 13 outlanders named. Turf stars of Ireland, Fiance and New Zealand also are listed.
