COTSWOLD. reserved early, rallied midway of the final turn and despite losing ground into the stretch, was along inside the final sixteenth to assume command, then was starting to draw off. SISTER BEAR drew clear going to the far turn, repulsed the bids from ANOTHER HEART and RHODES in the early stretch, then could not cope with the winner. ANOTHER HEART made a bid in the early stretch and held on well. RHODES loomed a threat from the inside into the stretch but lacked a late response. DICTION weakened while racing outside the field. HI-SCOT moved quickly to the. tiring-leader into the stretch and, after assuming command, had enough left to hold off GARET GARRETT. The latter made a strong move midway of the final turn from the outside, came between horses in-midstretch and, closing with a sharp burst of speed, just missed getting up. MISS MODISTE lacked a rally in the drive after holding a forward position early. RUNNING K. sprinted off to a commanding early lead but weakened when the final test came. ROAMING RED lacked speed away from the gate but was going willingly in the final quarter mile. DANDY 0. raced in nearest pursuit to the winner but weakened under pressure. DOUBLE DINE made one quick move to rush into command into the stretch and, after drawing off. was being eased at the finish. CLEAR SWEEP found best stride in the final quarter mile and, finishing with a good burst of speed, proved best of the others BROOMMAKER weakened in the final quarter mile. BULLETS had good speed until entering the stretch where he faltered. ASH TRAY, well placed after the start, was taken back from between horses going to the far turn and could not threaten thereafter. WANT-A-BIT, under restraint while along the inside early, swung outside midway of the backslretch and, after wearing down OPEN SHOW in midstretch, was edging away at the finish. The latter rushed by BOLD AND FAIR shortly after a half mile to assume command but proved no match for the winner in the final run. ANKYLOSIS dropped back slightly in the run down the backstretch, then came on again in the late stages. TEDS BULL had only a mild rally when put to pressure. STEPPING BOy" started to rally after a quarter mile and, circling the leaders, wore down MRS. HELLEN inside the final sixteenth and quickly drew clear. MRS. HELLEN settled into the stretch with a clear lead but faltered suddenly in the final sixteenth when challenged by the winner. CRISS M., under restraint early, finished with good energy in the final run. KISER KING, in nearest pursuit to the leader, lugged in badly in the stretch run. MR.
