LIBERTY STREET was close to the pace from the start and, catching RONNIES JET entering the last sixteenth, won by a good margin. TALENT CROP made up ground in the stretch and was going well at the finish. RONNIE S JET, breaking from the inside position, opened up a good early lead but weakened. RIDGEWISE finished well. Due to the fact that most of the track was obscured by a heavy fog, it was impossible to see the horses until they reached the eighth pole in the strtch. Therefore, the official timer was unable to time the race and all calls, with the exceotion of the stretch and finish calls were eliminated. SOUTHERN SKIES came strongly nar the end to pass SUPREME MUSIC and best her under urging. SUPREME MUSIC was well in advance of the others as they came out of the fog at the eighth pole but weakened nearing the finish. PAPPA-GEE went stadily through the last furlong. GOOFUS weakened nar the finish. Du to heavy fog it was impossible to see the horses until they reached the sixteenth pole in the stretch. CLUB CHAMP came out of the fog well in advance of the others and was not fully extended in winning easily. CHOICE DOUBLE was doing his best to hold BOLODIER. The latter finished with good courage. ETHEL-RITA took command after entering the stretch and drew out as if much the best in the last furlong to win in hand. MARCET went to the front at once and, while no match for the winner, went steadily to the end. FLIRTISSIMO was well up all the way. LAURA B. W. saved ground in the stretch. The others were not prominent. Due to the fog, the colors were not distinguishable betwen the far turn and the stretch turn. Therefore the three-sixteenths call was eliminated.
