1 i Tapicoa Wins at Longchamp As Rumesnil Runs Second Special to Daily Racing Form PARIS, France, May 31 Reuters. American owner Ralph Beaver Strass-burgers Rumesnil was beaten a length and one-half by the 20-to-l outsider, Tapioca, in the ,000 Prix Dharcourt at Longchamp Thursday. Tapioca, owned by Matheiu Goudchaux, and Rumesnil overtook the leader, Tanerko, a furlong out and Tapioca mastered Rumesnil comfortabley to win. Tanerko, a l-to-2 favorite, was a length and one-half farther back in third place in the field of seven. Tapioca, ridden by Serge Boullenger, is a son of Vandale, out of Semoule DOr and is trained by Alexander Lieux. Rumesnil was ridden by P. Palmer.
