Morrow Resigns as Racing Secretary at Suffolk Downs SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 20. — Judge John C. Pappas, president of Suffolk Downs, announced this morning that he has accepted the resignation -of racing secretary Gordon W. Morrow to become effective June 29th, closing day of the current meeting. Pappas related that Morrows acceptance of a position which conflicts with the Suffolk fall meeting was given by the racing secretary as the reason for his resignation. The Suffolk president accepted the resignation and wished Morrow well on his new assignment. Morrow has been facing secretary at Suffolk for threK and one-half years.
