Not Necessary to Apply Firing Iron to Bold Ruler AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 20.— Trainer Jim Fitzsimmons reported today that he is hopeful that it will not be necessary to apply the firing: iron to the splint that popped on the left front leg of Wheatley Stable Bold Rluer Sunday morning.
