SARAGOSSA raced behind the first flight to midway on the final turn where he moved up on the outside to take command and then was all out to hold BLACK COFFEE safe. The latter, raced in the middle of the pack to the quarter pole where he came between horses to reach contention and was gradually wearing down the winner. BULL X. made up some ground in the late stages. FLINT ROSE had no excuses. TELEPOST reached the lead from the inside approaching the half-mile grounds and then weakened.
