ANTEBABE drew into a long lead early, saved ground thereafter andj in a stiff drive, proved narrowly best over PACEMAKER. The latter, never far back, loomed up boldly along the outside in the midstretch, but was not quite good enough. BARACHEL BOB found his best stride too late. GOMANGO suffered a bumping about at the start. MARKIT PAID failed to seriously threaten. MIGHTY ROAN bled. RADAR CLIPPER broke sharply to the inside. Scratched— 168744 Tasa, 109. Won driving; second ana third the same; GALLARIDE forced the early pace while in hand, moved up on the outside to make his bid on rounding the final turn, lugged in slightly while wearing down FINAL POLE and quickly drew clear. CHIPAWOOD came wide and was going strongly at the end. FINAL POLE, racing without benefit of a whip, had his speed from the start, saved ground, was steadied momentarily while in slightly close in the midstretch and dropped the place position by stumbling in the final strides. CABLE BUG faltered after making a mild bid a quarter out. The others were always outrun. Gallaride claimed by Nechankim Stable, trainer A. Siravo. FIFTH RACE 6 FURLONGS. The latter found his best stride too late while closing a big gap on the outside. REAL ROUGH made up some ground but could not seriously threaten. DUNTREATH TINT was never a factor. MR.
