Polynesian Productions, heretofore producers of underwater film footage sold as stock to movie and TV outfits, is bristling with plans to build Honolulus first big, modern sound stage to accommodate visit-_ing companies as well as for its own use "in a new venture into feature production. . . . There are 10 major features lined up for Hawaii, including "Pacific," "Old Man and The Sea," "Twilight for the Gods," and "Enemy Below.". . . With so many pictures locationing away from here, its getting so movie gawkers who wanna visit Hollywood sets, stand a better chance in various parts of the world than in the cinema capital itself, Fox, for example in addition to "Pacific" in Hawaii , had "The Sun Also Rises" shooting in Paris, Spain and. Mexico; "Stopover Tokyo" in Japan; "A Farewell to Arms" going in Rome; "Young Lions" in Paris and New York; "April Love" in Kentucky, "Peyton Place" in Maine; "Fraulein" tabbed for Germany in July and "A Certain Smile" earmarked for Paris same month.
