WATER KELPIE, steadied within striking distance of the pace, moved to the outside in the stretch, responded to urging and was along to outfimsh FLYING HOOPS The latter forced the pace for a half mile, assumed command under pressure and held on gamely KITTY S.. forwardly placed and saving ground, lacked a late rally. ELISANN improved position steadily. RED SWIVEL showed soeed for three furlongs before shortening stride. BOUQUET BILLY weakened. COUNT ALA showed nothing. HEAT LIGHTNING displayed brief speed. TREDYFFRIN was outrun. IRISH TALE showed nothing. ZIPPY AIR, trailing early, was forced to leap over the prone rider and horse and was eased. DIXIES PAL was moving along on the inside near the five-sixteenths pole when she stumbled, tossed her rider and fell. ANNAR displaced ANNIES CHOICE for the lead, drew clear before a half mile, held on gamely when challenged, but was not good enough. TRUCHA rallied mildly in the late stages. ANNIES CHOICE weakened after a half mile BEDA BULL lacked early speed. AMEN showed nothing. KING TAOS broke sluggishly and was never prominent. BASIS flattened out when put to a drive. INSOMNIA, never far off the pace, swung to the outside for the drive, responded to strong urging and was along to gain the decisiojj in the final strides. GOOD ZEPHYR, slow to begin, worked his way up on the extreme outside and was catching tne winner. ANNS LOVE, steadied on the outside to the turn, swung to the inside, but lacked racing room until straightened for the drive, then closed with good energy. MONA LOU outsped the field to set the pace until the final furlong, then weakened. DUTCH PENNY raced with the leaders for three furlongs before weakening. FREEDOM PARLEY forced the pace and tired. STEVIE BOY raced evenly. STRONG ADVANCE had no mishap. IM FRED showed nothing. MAHAT raced wide. The others were outrun. Scratched— Nutmeg Lad, 118. FOURTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. BEAUTIFUL JANE raced in closest attendance of the pace, was unable to reach the leader, weakened, but earned a dead-heat with GAME MISS. The latter dropped off the pace before a quarter mile, was roused nearing the far turn, rushed boldly, but was unable to reach the winner. HAROLD M. lacked a rally.
