NO CAMERA FOR HAWTHORNE j CICERO, 111., June 11 Albert Sab- j ! ath, head of the Hawthorne race I track, today received word from Harry Day that he would be unable j j to install his camera finish device for j J the remainder of the Hawthorne meet- ! ing. The West Side track had com- j j pleted arrangements for the installa- tion of the camera, which had been J used so successfully at Santa Anita I and Narragansett Park. So exten- j sive is the machinery used by the j 1 Day camera, that its inventor decided j he would be unable to get it in before I j the final few days of the meeting, I J which ends June 27. Hawthorne had J hoped to have it in use for the final ! t two weeks, but the equipment that j was to be brought here, is now being J improved and overhauled at the East- j i man Laboratories, in Rochester, N.
