DETROIT DERBY WORKOUT DETROIT, Mich., June 11. Shortly after the second race, trainer Jack Webber brought J. Shirley Rileys Jimmie Cabaniss, a Detroit Derby eligible on the track and in company with Spur Flower, went a handy mile in 1:41. Beginning the eight furlongs test at the stand, Jimmie Cabaniss stepped the quarter in :25, the half in :50, and three-quarters in 1:15. Word was received from New York that Tatterdemalion was shipped from New York to represent C. V. Whitney in the Derby Saturday. He is due to arrive here tomorrow morning.
