INSCOLITA, far back early, worked her way up on the outside, closed with a rush in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. SANDVATO, well placed in the early running, showed fair speed and was not hustled in the last eighth. DONNACONA KID raced evenly and held on well. ESCOMUR showed a flash of early speed. MUY PRONTO, showing good speed, was hustled into the lead on the inside, saved ground all the way and, shaking off LUCKY PROSPERO inside the final eighth, held TOCAYA safe. TOCAYA, unable to keep up early, closed with a rush in the final eighth and was going gamely at the end. LUCKY PROSPERO forced the early pace, held on well to thednal eighth, then tired. SID LEA, in close quarters shortly after the break and far back early, closed fast in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. MISS SAINT JO showed early speed. MAVERICK quit. AMOUR, far back early, worked her way up on the outside in the early part, got through on the inside in the stretch and, finishing gamely, got up in the last few strides. SUNSET GOLD, forced to race on the outside all the way, gained a short lead inside the final sixteenth, but could not maintain it. SAYLOMA, well placed in the early running, saved ground all the way, took command in the stretch, but tired nearing the end. JUST MARIE lacked early speed, raced wide all the way and finished gamely. LERACK, forced to race wide to enter contention, closed with a rush in the stretch and just failed to get up. RUNANWIN. outrun early, gained gradually and finished gamely. GOOGIE, close to the early pace, raced BLUE FOAM into submission, drew away into . a good lead on -the lower turn, saved ground entering the stretch, but could not hold the winner. POMPOHONE, well placed in the early running, dropped back slightly on the lower turn, came to the outside, in -thc stretch and was going gamely at the end.
