DELLOR, much the best, came around the leaders in the final three-sixteenths and drew away to win with something in reserve. TARTARUS, prominent throughout, was no match for the winner. DAVISHILL broke last, fore ed the pace for three eighths and held on gamely. MIDAS, away slowly, made up considerable ground. INCOGNITO was in a contending position approaching the final quarter when almost knocked to his knees and was eliminated. ORIENTALIST was never prominent. Scratched 26869:lTobacco Buyer, 116. PRE WAR opened up a big lead soon after the start, but could not withstand the winner. GRAY JACK was in close quarters at the stretch turn, came to the outside and finished fast. HIGH DIVER raced close up throughout and held on well. OUR BUD tired slightly. BIBBIES CHOICE tired. EIGHTH RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS.
