Power Index Hits High, Daily Racing Form, 1936-06-12

POWER INDEX HITS HIGH Electricity production in the United States increased again during the week ending June 6 and lifted an adjusted index to the highest level in its history. The total output for that week was 1,945,018,000 kilowatt hours. This compared with 1,922,108,000 for the preceding week and represented an increase of 1.2 per cent, and 1,724,491,000 for the corresponding week last year, a gain of 12.8 per cenk
