FAIR TRADE ACT UPHELD SPRINGFIELD, 111., June 11. In an unanimous opinion handed down by the Illinois Supreme Court, the Illinois fair trade act was held constitutional. An appeal was made from a ruling of the Cook County Circuit Court by Carl W. McNeil, head of the McNeil liquor store in Chicago. The ruling of the latter body that McNeil could not sell liquor at less than the wholesalers list price was upheld. The action was brought about by the Joseph Triner Corporation.
