CHOJNACKI IN JOCKEY LEAD Apprentice Riding- Sensation of Omaha Meet Pilots Dorothy R. in Opener. OMAHA, Neb., June 11. Apprentice Frank Chojnacki, who Wednesday went to the head of the American jockey list by riding three winners at Ak-Sar-Ben Field, kept up his good work Thursday when he piloted the opening winner on a seven-race bill. Chojnacki had the mount on the long-priced Dorothy R. in the initial event and that filly Avon with ease from Loup River, another outsider, while Burlington Bill was third. The public of this section flocked to the support of Little Hank in the race, making him an edds-on favorite, but one A. Wilson, a comparatively unknown jockey, rode the animal, and Little Hank was never a contender. The second race, a juvenile affair, was won by the two-year-old filly Tankie, which out-finished Blind Sage in a drive. Tankie was well up from the start, while Blind Sage was forced to come from some distance back, but the latter was gaining at the finish. Saludean was third. The winner was ridden by F. Grill.
