I DETROIT TURF NOTES $ W. Zakoor sold the three-year-old Aura to H. A. Stewart, and A. G. Tarn purchased the two-year-old Queen Full from H. E. Simpson. Queen Full, which was graduated from the maiden ranks Wednesday, is a half sister to Rushaway. Planetoid, J. T. Taylors stakes winning , daughter of Ariel and an eligible for the Moslem Temple Stakes, to be run here June 20, arrived from Latonia Thursday morning; Walter Taylor is training the miss for his brother. J. H. Tate, who has been vacationing at his home at Arlington, Texas, arrived here Thursday morning and was granted a trainers license. He took over the training of Whisking and Grey Pal, which Walter Grater brought here for him. Danny Stewart loaded Mrs. P. A. B. Wide-ners Dnieper and J. E. Wideners Fair Oaks, Thursday morning, and they left for Hawthorne. Dnieper failed to show enough in the Derby Trial Handicap to warrant Stewart starting him in the Detroit Derby. W. J. Kelley, who will have charge of the jockeys quarters at Thistle Down, plans on inspecting the quarters at the track this week-end. He is going at the request of judge Joseph A. Murphy, who will serve as director of racing, and any improvement necessary will be made before the opening of the meeting on July 6.
