WISE DORA, rated close to the pace for three-quarters, came through on the rail entering the stretch, disposed of OUR LILLY and took a good lead, but was caught in the last stride by BURNT TRAIL. The latter worked her way up gradually, lost ground racing wide, but hung when it appeared she would take the lead. TOBACCO raced well up throughout, but was tiring. BLACKTHORN, never far back, was forced wide entering the stretch and just missed getting the show. OUR LILLY quit after three-quarters. NESSUS was throueh after five-eighths. A photograph was used to determine the finish.
