LADY MARSCO broke well from the inside position, was rushed into the lead, shook off IRON SANDS entering the stretch and, drawing away, won easily. IRON SANDS raced closest to the winner all the way and had no excuses. BEAVER COUNTY, well placed in the early runninc, closed gamely in the stretch and got up in the last stride for the show. MANLY, well placed in the early running, saved ground entering the stretch, finished gamely in the stretch, wore down the leaders and drew clear near the end. ROLL HOME started slowly, worked his way up gradually and finished gamely. FAIR ROMANCE forced a fast early pace, lost much ground by racing wide and tired in the last eighth. LUCKY GEORGE, lucky to get through on the inside in the early, running, opened up a good lead on the lower turn, saved ground all the way, but had to be shaken up in the stretch to hold CASH PLAY safe. CASH PLAY broke fast, but was unable to keep up in the early running, came to the outside in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. PLAYDEMA, away in a tangle and far back early, finished with good speed in the stretch and was going well at the end. EXPLORER laced well. The latter, easily best, broke well, showed good speed in the pacemaking, bore out badly entering the stretch and finished on her own courage. BALDY, hustled into the lead on the lower turn, bore out slightly in the stretch and was tiring at the end. DAISY BANE showed a good effort. LERACK raced wide on the lower turn. GOFORTH will improve. TUT TUT, well placed in the early running, saved ground on the lower turn, came to the outside in the stretch and was going fastest at the end. MAYLITE lacked early speed, got through on the inside entering the stretch, but did not threaten the loadeis. ROYAL IMAGE showed brief early speed. OUGHT TO was outrun. BETTIE JOE, on the outside for the first half mile, saved ground entering the stretch and held on well. ULEADUS took a short lead on the first turn, but tired badly. The latter, hustled into a good lead in the first half mile, was rated along under steady restraint, swerved badly in the final eighth, came on again when straightened out and finished gamely. WASWANAPPI lacked early speed, saved ground entering the stretch and outlasted DIXIE DAN. DIXIE DAN was well placed in the early running and, while making up some ground in the stretch, did not threaten the leaders. .
