I RIVERSIDE PARK NOTES $ $ The stable of Mrs. C. B. Irwin, in charge of trainer R. Leihe, left for Seattle. In the Irwin string were Liolele, Instigator, Jane Packard, Great Lover, Edgar Boy, Pulis and Ruth Jelinek. St. Mica, Mica Rock and Bon Champ, belonging to Mrs. H. G. Hyde, and Sister Vinie, the property of E. Waddell, left Sunday for Seattle. The Gillespie Land and Irrigation Company stable departed for Seattle Saturday. Rishi, which broke a leg during the running of the second race Friday and was destroyed, was fully covered by insurance. The good three-year-old filly Reelon, which bolted into the fence during the running of the seventh race Saturday, came out of that race with a severe gash on the left side of her chest and it is not likely that she will go to the barrier again at this meeting. A great battle is being staged here for the leading training honors and at present R. A. Coward, with eleven winners, is heading the list, with Noble Tiller close behind, he having saddled ten. A thrilling battle for first place in the Mayfair Club jockey contest is being waged between apprentice J. Donoho and Jdckey J. Adams. At present Donoho is leading Adams by three points for major honniH while B. Neal is twenty points behinH leader in third position. Jk
