HONORING MADISON COUNTY Special Plans for Gala Day at Omaha -Le Karonga and Quindaro Earn Brackets. OMAHA, Neb., June 29. Tuesday will be Madison County Day at the Ak-Sar-Ben race track, in honor of the Madison County Agricultural Society, which will hold a race meet of its own at Madison, Neb., July 14, 15 and 16. Several hundred boosters from that county accompanied by the Citizens Band of Madison, a fifty-piece musical unit, will attend Tuesdays program, the fifth race of which will be named in their honor. Earl Moyer, secretary of the Madison County race meet, is in charge of arrangements and reports that the delegation will approximate 300. Favorites came home in the first two races at the Omaha track Monday when Le Ka-ronga won the opening event and Quindaro defeated Miss Balko in the second race. It was the third time at the meeting that Quindaro had defeated Miss Balko and his victory Monday was more impressive than ever before. Apprentice C. Shultz, who rode at Riverside Park Saturday, returned and had the mount on Quindaro.
