FINAL FEATURES AT LATONIA Goodloe Farm Handicap Wednesday and Independence Day Handicap Saturday Last Stakes. LATONIA, Ky., June 29 Two attractive features are scheduled for the final week of racing at the Latonia Jockey Clubs course, which reaches its climax Saturday, July 4, with the twenty-sixth running of the Independence Day Handicap, which promises to bring together the best of the handicap route runners, quartered in this section. The other feature of the closing week is the Goodloe Farm Handicap scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, and for three-year-olds and over, over the sprint distance of six furlongs. The mid-week feature should bring together a crack band of sprinters. The Dawson Springs Handicap, slated for Tuesday, at a mile and a furlong, and for three-year-olds and over, did not fill, thus depriving race-goers of a triple feature for the week.
