GETALONG, far back early, closed with good speed in the stretch and was rapidly wearing down the winner. BLUE BOOT, far back early, closed with a rush in the vast eighth and was going gamely at the end. ONALARK was hustled into the lead in the back stretch, but tired in the last eighth. REELON showed early speed, was under restraint when outrun by ONALARK, moved up fast entering the stretch, took command an eighth out, but swerved badly to the inner rail and, cutting her left shoulder, was cased up. The latter, under stout restraint early, saved ground all the way and was going well at the end. MALICIOUS galloped along far back for the first mile and then closed with belated speed. NORTHERN WATER, under restraint early, bore out badly entering the stretch and then tired badlv. CULLODEN was always far back.
