TWO MORE DETROIT STAKES Liberty Handicap and Woodward Stakes Share Feature Honors on Saturdays Holiday Card. DETROIT, Mich., June 29 Two stakes, the Liberty Handicap for three-year-olds and upward, and the Woodward Stakes for two-year-olds and at five and one-half furlongs, remain to be decided before the Detroit Racing Association brings its most successful meeting to a close next Saturday. They will share feature honors on the nations holiday and, from all indications, the largest crowd of the meeting will be present. Nominations for these two important fixtures closed today, and a large list of entries already have been received for both races. Benny Creech plans on returning the speedy Miss Dolphin here for the Woodward Stakes, and in the event she is successful, she will be considered one of the leading juveniles of the year. Her last victory was at the expense of a crack field in the Moslem Temple Stakes.
