Two-year-olds, which dominated the Hawthorne juvenile division for her, form the major part of her stable here, all but six being of this age. Her horses at Arlington Park are the five-year-old Wise Daughter, the four-year-olds Whiskolo and Blue Armor, the three-year-olds Forever Yours, Sangreal and The Fighter, and the two-year-olds Jaw Breaker, High Pressure, Sunset Girl, Minstrel Show, Mars Shield, Nations Taste, The Tribesman, Talma Dee, Dogaway, Reaping Reward, Murph, Case Ace, Spring Flood, Winged Victory, Military, Miss Min, Briar Mint, Will Do and Wonderful Nite. Seventeen horses, including eleven juveniles are training at Arlington Park in charge of the veteran trainer John J. Greely. The horses in this successful stable are Chief Cherokee, Dark Woman, Ralph C, Top Dog, Short Skirt, Blind Pig, Surcouf, Gay Dog, Star Banner, Rosevale, Brilliant Light, Uvalde, Brown Feathers, Corinto, Chasar, Flavor, Nectarine, Owaller, All Round and Higher Cloud. Widener II., prominent young eastern socialite, during the Arlington Park meeting. They were included in the shipment of horses owned by her father-in-law, Joseph E. Widener, which came from Hawthorne in charge of trainer Dan Steward. C. Hyde Smith, with nine head to race under W. E. Irvings Oddesa Farm Stable colors, arrived here last week. Apprentice Frank Finn, a recent arrival from Latonia, has affiliated with the W. C. Reichert stable. John D. Sherrill Ward, with the Hector and Firestone horses, and his father with the Everglade Stable string, came in Friday from Latonia. Charles Bacharachs Southland Stable, under trainer Cliff Porter and consisting of eighteen, unloaded here Saturday from New York. Non-stop race trains to Arlington Park will be operated daily over the Chicago and North Western Railway during the meeting which opens Monday, June 29. The trains will leave the North Western station, Madison and Canal Streets, between 12:45 and 1:30 p. m., Chicago time, and as many trains will be run daily as is necessary to take care of the crowds. For Saturday, July 4, the trains will start operating from the station at 12:15 instead of 12:45. No stop will be made on the going trip of the special race trains except that trains will stop at Jefferson Park about 1 oclock and at 1:25 p. m. daily. The trains will reach the park thirty-five minutes after leaving the loop. Returning, the trains will leave the track at the close of the races as soon as loaded. All trains will stop at Jefferson Park returning and the last trains will make stops at Jefferson Park, Irving Park and Clybourn. On the big race days, such as Saturdays and the Fourth of July, ample trains will be scheduled to take care of the crowds. Ten horses, mostly home-bred two-year-olds, will race for the Three Ds Stock Farm, owned by the Waggoner Brothers of Texas, during the Arlington Park meeting. One of these horses in charge of trainer R. N. Vestal is the two-year-old Pansys First, the first foal of the mare Pansy Walker, popular in the Chicago sector several years ago. Emerson F. Woodward of Houston, prominent Texas oil and cattle man, arrived from his home accompanied by Mrs. Woodward and will remain throughout the meeting to see his Valdina Farm horses run. David W. Butler, well known Hollywood director, was a visitor Monday en route to California from New York. His modest stable will be campaigned here. Charles S. Howard, director of Santa Anita Park and owner of an extensive stable, nessed the days sport with Mrs. Howard. They stopped en route from New York to San Francisco but will return later in the meeting. Brownell Combs will race Myrtlewood, which holds the Arlington Park track record for six -furlongs in 1:09, along with Grand Duke and several others during the meeting here. Myrtlewood was not named for the seven furlongs Inaugural Handicap, as she is being pointed for the 0,000 Stars and Stripes Handicap, at a mile and a fur-long, here on July 4. George Brown, Jr., arrived from Baltimore, Md., to serve as steward at Arlington Park.
