win for r. s. Mclaughlin Parkwood Stable Silks Score Again in Feature at Hamilton Dono-siris Graduates. HAMILTON, Ont, June 29. The Park-wood Stable of R. S. McLaughlin, which has been cutting a wide swath in furnishing the winners of the best races since the start of the Canadian racing season, supplied the winner of the best contest for the second day of the Hamilton Jockey Club meeting today when Donosiris, home-bred son of Osiris and Hey, sped to a front running triumph in the St. Catharines Purse, a dash of five furlongs that served as the fourth race. The ten under silks were all of home-bred parentage and Donosiris, under the riding of C. McDonald, was good enough to lead every step of the short trip to graduate in easy fashion. In colors for the second time since being brought to racing, Donosoris set a fast pace after getting away from the starting point busily and McDonald made no mistakes when he took the youngster the shortest way home to have him across the finish line two lengths in advance of H. R. Bains Worth Trying, with Aldwych, a frequent disappointment, third before Dark Robina and the others. It was the first success for the Parkwood Stable and jockey C. McDonald since the local meeting was ushered in Saturday. With racing terminated in Toronto and conditions ideal for the sport, a large gathering was in attendance for the second day. No special feature was down for decision and only one of the seven races carded was devoid of the claiming tag. The silks of Mrs. R. E. Webster were seen in their first victory since the Canadian season was ushered in when Chalgo, three-year-old son of Challenger II., defeated F. Hammers Romarch, J. Buckleys Osirando and four other three-year-olds of Canadian parentage that met in the second race over six and one-half furlongs.
