ROMAN SOLDIER ARRIVES ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 29. Roman Soldier, which finished third to Discovery and Good Gamble in the Brooklyn Handicap Saturday, arrived here this morning from New York and is expected to fulfill his engagement this coming Saturday in the Stars and Stripes Handicap. Trainer Phil Reuter brought four other horses in addition to Elwood Sachsenmaiers star, while five additional members of the Southland Stable were in the same car, the main division of this establishment having arrived last week. Fifteen horses owned by Hal Price Headey arrived this morning from Detroit in charge of trainer D. A. Headley. Included in the shipment were Whopper, Hollyrood, Preeminent, Apogee and other well known horses.
