Seventeen sprinters were named for the ,000 added Liberty Handicap, and sixteen juveniles were made eligible for the ,000 added Woodward Stakes, the two features that will top Detroits closing day program Saturday. Nominations for the stakes closed Saturday and those eligible for the Liberty Handicap follow: Quel Jeu, Sweep Like, Billy Bee, Sir Michael, Southern Way, Biography, Isaiah, Miney Myerson, Foxy Maude, Beau Tod, Mower, Croon, Sablin, Stand Pat, Whisking, Westy Junior, Silverette. Those named to oppose the record-breaking Miss Dolphin are: Yellow Tulip, Whis-cenda, Making Time, Little Upset, Coramine, Star Singer, Sun Frolic, Smart Agnes, Rebecca Lee, Buttermilk, Miss Marlboro, Gene Wagers, Planetoid, Makus and Jadva.
